I am very happy and honored to have been selected and awarded as one of the IEEE Access 2021 outstanding associate editors. My sincerest thanks to all the administrative staff of the journal, who supported me effectively over the years, and to all the reviewers who have contributed their expertise to the growth of the journal. This award actually represents all these people.

Today, I was awarded the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor for the disciplinary field of 09/H1 - Information processing systems (Academic Recruitment Field 09/H - Computer engineering, according to the national classification).
